Per Resolution 177-20 Swancreek Township’s Recycle Center is closed.

SWANCREEK TOWNSHIP FALL CLEANUP

Dates: Thursday, October 10th through Sunday, October 13th
Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Swancreek Township Building, 5565 County Road D

Important Information for Residents:

• Eligibility: This clean-up event is for Swancreek Township residents only. You must show a picture ID or driver’s license to participate.
• Courtesy Reminder: Please be considerate of your neighbors by limiting the amount of items you bring. This ensures everyone can utilize this opportunity.
• Containers Available: Multiple roll-off containers will be available for unwanted items, and a separate container will be provided for metal recycling. Place your items neatly to maximize space for all residents.

Accepted Items:

• Washers and dryers
• Furniture
• TVs
• Scrap metal
• Car batteries
• Refrigerators (must have freon properly removed with a tag proving removal)

Items Not Accepted:

• Tires
• Paint cans
• Household batteries
• Dead animals
• Hazardous materials
• Construction site materials (even if the contractor is a resident)

Senior Pickup: This service is no longer available. However, we have increased the number of drop-off days to provide ample time for you to arrange suitable transportation.

Community Benefit:

This clean-up event does not generate revenue for the Township but offers a valuable service to help residents dispose of large unwanted items that do not fit in regular trash bins. By participating, you contribute to keeping our Township clean and supporting a healthier environment for all residents.
