Fulton County Road 2 Construction Begins July 28, 2025

Swancreek Township has been informed by the Fulton County Engineer’s Office that construction on County Road 2, between Road D and Road E, is expected to begin the week of July 28, 2025. This phase of the project will involve full-depth reclamation, which rebuilds the road base to extend the life of the pavement.

    What Is Reclamation?

Reclamation is a process that pulverizes the existing asphalt and base, mixes in stabilizing materials, and compacts the mixture to form a new foundation. A new layer of asphalt is then applied. This technique improves the road’s structure and durability.

    • All work is subject to change based on contractor schedules and weather conditions.
