Swancreek Township Clean Up Days

Offered Twice a Year – Spring and Fall Cleanup Events
For Swancreek Township Residents Only

Swancreek Township is committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all residents. As part of this commitment, we host two Cleanup Events each year, in the spring and fall, to provide residents with a convenient opportunity to dispose of large unwanted items.

These events are not designed to generate revenue, but rather to offer a valuable public service. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines outlined below.


Spring Cleanup Days

Dates: Thursday, May 1 – Sunday, May 4, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Fall Cleanup Days

Dates: Thursday, October 2 – Sunday, October 5, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Resident Eligibility

This event is exclusively for Swancreek Township residents.

A valid photo ID or driver’s license showing a Swancreek Township address is required at drop-off.


Item Drop-Off Guidelines

To ensure equal access for all residents, please limit the quantity of items you bring.

Drop-off only. We no longer offer senior pickup services. The extended drop-off window is designed to provide flexibility for all residents.


Accepted Items

  • Large household appliances: washers, dryers, refrigerators (must be tagged showing freon removal)
  • Furniture
  • Televisions
  • Scrap metal
  • Car batteries

Items Not Accepted

  • Tires
  • Paint cans
  • Household batteries
  • Dead animals
  • Hazardous materials
  • Construction site materials
