CLEANUP DAYS

2023 TOWNSHIP CLEAN-UP:

Wednesday 04-26-2023 to Saturday 04-29-2023

Township clean-up will be different this year.

It is 4 days long and self-serve and open during regular hours during the weekdays and 8 am to 2 pm on Saturday. There will be people to help you during regular business hours. This is for Swancreek Township Residents you MUST SHOW PICTURE ID or DRIVERS LICENSE.

Please be courteous to your neighbors and limit the amount you are bringing so that all can utilize this opportunity. There will be more than one roll-off container for you to deposit your unwanted items and a metal recycling container for your metal items. We ask that you put the items in the best you can so we can accommodate everyone in the Township.

Please bring your washers, dryers, furniture, tv’s, scrap metal, car batteries, refrigerators (any freon MUST be properly removed prior to disposal and be accompanied by the tag proving it was removed), etc. to: Swancreek Township Building located at 5565 County Road D.

We cannot accept tires, paint cans, household batteries, dead animals & any hazardous material. We cannot take construction site materials even if the contractor is a resident.

Senior pickup:
Due to the growing number of residents requesting this service as well as the inordinate amount of time we have spent picking up these items, we are no longer able to offer this service. Having 4 days to bring your items will enable you to find suitable transportation options.

Remember this does not make the Township money but it enables its residents to get rid of larger unwanted items you generally wouldn’t fit in your trash. This helps the Township stay cleaner and helps the residents.

The Township Trustees thank you for your cooperation!
