Located in Fulton County, Ohio, Swancreek Township is one of the twelve townships that make up this vibrant county. In the 2010 census, our township boasted a population of 8,566 residents. Within this number, 6,013 individuals chose to make their homes in the unincorporated areas of Swancreek Township, enjoying the charm and tranquility our township offers.
Notably, Swancreek Township is home to significant portions of both the village of Swanton and the village of Delta, adding to the richness and diversity of our community.

TOWNSHIP CLEAN-UP: THURSDAY, APRIL 25TH-SUNDAY, APRIL 28
We are excited to announce our Spring Cleanup Event, exclusively for Swancreek Township residents. Please note the following details:
- Date and Time: Thursday, April 25 th 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday, April 26 th 9:00 AM – 5:00
PM, Saturday, April 27 th 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sunday, April 28 th 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Location: Swancreek Township Building, 5565 County Road D.
- Resident Verification: Please bring a valid photo ID or driver’s license for verification.
- Courtesy Reminder: To ensure everyone can take advantage of this opportunity, we kindly ask that you limit the amount of items you bring.
- Accepted Items: You can dispose of washers, dryers, furniture, TVs, scrap metal, car batteries, and refrigerators (ensure freon is properly removed and accompanied by a removal tag).
- Items Not Accepted: We cannot accept tires, paint cans, household batteries, dead animals, hazardous materials, or construction site materials.
- Senior Pickup: While we no longer offer senior pickup services, we have increased the number of drop-off days to accommodate transportation needs.
- Purpose: This event is aimed at helping residents dispose of larger unwanted items that may not fit in regular trash pickup. While it doesn’t generate revenue for the Township, it contributes to a cleaner environment for all.

MEETING SCHEDULE CHANGE
We would like to inform you of some important changes to the schedule of our Township Trustees meetings.
At the recent board meeting, Trustee Meyer motioned to cancel the April 1st regular meeting of the Board of Trustees, while maintaining the April 15th meeting and Trustee Green seconded. Additionally, a new once-a-month schedule has been established for the Regular Board of Trustee Meetings, which will now take place on the second Monday of each month.
As a result, the updated schedule for our Township Trustees meetings is as follows:
- Monday, April 1st, 2024 – CANCELLED
- Monday, April 15th, 2024 – 7:00 PM
- Monday, May 13th, 2024 – 7:00 PM
- Monday, June 10th, 2024 – 7:00 PM
- Monday, July 8th, 2024 – 7:00 PM
- Monday, August 12th, 2024 – 7:00 PM
- Monday, September 9th, 2024 – 7:00 PM
- Monday, October 14th, 2024 – 7:00 PM
- Monday, November 11th, 2024 – 7:00 PM
- Monday, December 9th, 2024 – 7:00 PM
